Margo and David Pollak founded Pollak Vineyards in 2003 when they purchased an organic farm just west of Charlottesville, Virginia. After a long partnership in a Napa winery and a career in international business, David Pollak found himself back in the wine business.

David Pollak, long active in the wine business, quickly discovered that great, unique wines could be produced from meticulously maintained vineyards that boasted the distinctive Virginia terroir. With the goal of creating world-class wines, Pollak Vineyards boasts 27 acres of French vinifera, and crafts wine with the balance and intensity of the traditional French varietals.
